Architecture

Griffin Architects, P.A. has grown from a private practice founded in 1979 to a full service architectural firm. A staff of three registered architects and three intern architects allows for a team environment which provides a unique diversity in service. We are experienced in single and multifamily custom residential designs, as well as commercial developments, environmental design , community planning, and historic preservation. Griffin Architects continues to be recognized locally, in Western North Carolina,and regionally in The Southeast for design and preservation excellence.

Griffin Architecture consists of a broad vocabulary of styles including: Additions & Renovations, American, Arts and Crafts, Commercial, English, French, Mediterranean, Modern, Mountain, Preservation, and Sustainable. We use hand drawings, sketches, CAD Drawings and 3D Modeling to communicate our ideas to both clients and contractors.

Griffin Architects’ are known for a high level of architectural interior detail as well as coordination of interior finishes and furnishings. We have interior designers on staff and we also work with our clients interior designers at times.

With a remodel that was that extensive, on a home that was that old, there were occasional unforeseen problems during construction. Griffin Architects was extraordinarily responsive with creative solutions and their supervision of construction insured a fabulous result. Twenty years later, we are still enjoying our wonderful home.
